EC/Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia FYROM stabilisation and association agreement: signing and conclusion of the Protocol following the accession of Bulgaria and Romania

The European Parliament adopted, by 440 votes to 18 with 7 abstentions, a legislative resolution and gave its assent to the conclusion of the Protocol to the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia of the other part, to take account of the accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the EU. The report was tabled for consideration in plenary by Jacek SARYUSZ-WOLSKI (EPP-ED, PL), on behalf of the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
