PURPOSE: final adoption of amending budget No 4 of the European Union for the financial year 2009.

CONTENT: the European Parliament has adopted amending budget No 4 of the European Union for the financial year 2009. It covers the revision of the ceilings of the multiannual financial framework for Headings 1a and 2, following the trialogue of 2 April held between the budgetary authority and the Commission on the financing of the European Economic Recovery Plan (for details of this agreement please refer to the procedure file ACI/2008/2332).
