Wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors: rear-view mirrors (repeal. Directive 74/346/EEC). Codification

PURPOSE: to codify Council Directive 74/346/EEC on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to rear-view mirrors for wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors.

LEGISLATIVE ACT: Directive 2009/59/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on rear-view mirrors for wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors (Codified version).

CONTENT: the purpose of this Directive is to codify Council Directive 74/346/EEC of 25 June 1974 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to rear-view mirrors for wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors, which had been substantially amended several times. This Directive will supersede the various acts incorporated in it. It fully preserves the content of the acts being codified and hence does no more than bring them together, with only such formal amendments as are required by the codification exercise itself.

ENTRY INTO FORCE: 19/08/2009.

APPLICATION: from 01/01/2010.
