The Committee on Legal Affairs adopted the report drafted by Sajjad KARIM (ECR, UK) on the amended proposal for a Council Directive on the structure and rates of excise duty applied to manufactured tobacco (codified version).
It recommended that the European Parliament’s position should take over the Commission’s amended proposal as adapted to the recommendations of the Consultative Working Party of the legal services of the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission.
