The Committee on Budgetary Control adopted the report drafted by Inés AYALA SENDER (S&D, ES) in which it calls on the European Parliament to deliver a negative opinion on the Council's nomination of Neven MATES (HR) as a Member of the Court of Auditors. The committee advises Parliament against endorsing Neven MATES’s candidacy for this post.
