The European Parliament adopted by 457 votes to 169, with 55 abstentions, a decision in which it delivered a favourable opinion on the Council’s nomination of Klaus Heiner LEHNE (DE) as a Member of the Court of Auditors. The credentials of the nominee fulfilled the requirements laid down in Article 286(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU).
