PURPOSE: to appoint a member of the Court of Auditors.
NON-LEGISLATIVE ACT: Council Decision 2013/374/EU appointing a member of the Court of Auditors.
CONTENT: following the accession of Croatia to the European Union, the Council decided to appoint Mr Neven MATES (HR) as a member of the Court of Auditors for a term of office of six years, from 15 July 2013 to 14 July 2019. It should be noted that Parliament had delivered a negative opinion of this appointment.
