PURPOSE: to elect the European Ombudsman.
NON LEGISLATIVE ACT: Decision n° 949/2014/EU of the European Parliament, Euratom, electing the European Ombudsman.
CONTENT: following the vote taken during the plenary sitting of 16.12.2014, the European Parliament decided to elect Emily O'REILLY to exercise the function of European Ombudsman until the end of the parliamentary term.
