The European Parliament adopted by 542 votes to 87, with 19 abstentions, a legislative resolution on the draft Council decision on the conclusion, on behalf of the European Union and its Member States, of a Protocol to the Euro-Mediterranean Agreement establishing an Association between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Lebanon, of the other part, to take account of the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union.
In line with the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Parliament gave its consent to the conclusion of the Protocol.
