European order for payment procedure: replacing Annex I

The European Parliament has decided not to object to the Commission's delegated regulation of 19 June 2017 replacing Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 1896/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council creating a European order for payment procedure.

No objections were raised within the period laid down in the third and fourth indents of Rule 105(6) of its Rules of Procedure, which expired on 4 July 2017.

Members recalled that the annexes to Regulation (EC) No 1896/2006 set out the forms to be used to facilitate its application.

Regulation (EC) No 1896/2006 was amended by Regulation (EU) 2015/2421, which will apply from 14 July 2017. The changes made to the European order for payment procedure should be reflected in Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 1896/2006.

The new Annex I should apply at the same time as Regulation (EU) 2015/2421 and the delegated regulation should therefore enter into force on 14 July 2017.
