Laying down management, conservation and control measures applicable in the Area covered under the Southern Indian Ocean Fisheries Agreement (SIOFA)

At its first reading under the ordinary legislative procedure, the European Parliament rejected by 48 votes to 585, with 6 abstentions, the proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down management, conservation and control measures applicable in the Southern Indian Ocean Fisheries Agreement (SIOFA). It invited the Commission to withdraw its proposal.
