Decision on the election of the Commission

The European Parliament decided by 370 votes to 282, with 36 abstentions, to give its consent to the appointment of the President, the Vice-President for external relations (High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy) and the other members of the Commission, as a body, for the term of office running to 31 October 2029.
