Support system for producers of certain arable crops: use of land set aside

PURPOSE : to encourage the growth of fodder legumes on set-aside land. COMMUNITY MEASURE : Council Regulation 1038/2001/EC amending Regulation 1251/1999 establishing a support system for producers of certain arable crops. CONTENT : Regulation 1251/1999 is amended so that the use of land set aside under the support scheme for arable crops in order to grow fodder legumes on agricultural holdings taking part for the totality of the production in the scheme provided for in Regulation No 2092/91 EC is authorised.
