European system of national and regional accounts in the European Community (ESA 95)

The ESC approved the proposal for a regulation and its annexes and noted that the Member States would not be obliged to comply with ESA 95 when compiling accounts for their own needs. It urged that the deadline laid down in Article 7 for the ‘first transmission’ be the same for all Member States.
