Incineration of toxic and dangerous waste: rectification of legal basis

The Committee adopted unanimously the recommendation for the second reading on the incineration of hazardous waste as proposed by rapporteur, that stricter emission limits are a must. The Commission declared not to take over these amendments. A majority in the Committee went along with Mr. FLORENZ, who could not say yes to this "soft solution". �
