Telecommunications: trans-European networks, guidelines (rev. Decision 1336/97/EC Annex I)

The committee adopted the report by Colette FLESCH (ELDR, L) approving the proposal under the codecision procedure (1st reading) subject to a few amendments, a number of which sought to clarify the Commission text. The committee also adopted two amendments to the actual proposal for a decision that were designed to ensure consistency with the new regulatory framework for telecommunications and to ensure that Parliament is kept informed.�
