Reference laboratories for the monitoring of marine biotoxins

Following the Commission's undertaking to Parliament that it would introduce the codecision procedure provided for by Article 100a of the EC Treaty for any proposal concerning public health, the Commission amended its initial proposal. The legal basis was therefore altered from Article 43 to Article 100a of the EC Treaty, and the title, citations and recitals were amended accordingly. �
