Oil and fibre plants: marketing of seed (codif. direct. 62/208/EEC)

PURPOSE : to consolidate Directive 69/208/EEC on the marketing of seed oil and fibre plants. COMMUNITY MEASURE : Council Directive 2002/57/EC on the marketing of seed oil and fibre plants. CONTENT : for reasons of clarity and rationality, this Directive aims to consolidate Directive 69/208/EEC, modified on several occasions since its adoption. The new directive replaces the various directives which are the subject of the codification procedure. It respects the substance of the codified texts completely and is restricted to gathering them in a single text while making only formal amendments required by the procedure of codification.
