EC/Guinea-Bissau fisheries agreement: protocol for the period from 16 June 1997 to 15 June 2001

In adopting the report by Mr Josu Jon IMAZ SAN MIGUEL (PPE, E), the European Parliament has
approved the conclusion of the new fisheries protocol between the Community and the Republic of
Guinea-Bissau, while calling for an improvement in the information provided to the budgetary
authority. It has also asked for the Commission to provide it with an annual report on application of
the EC-Guinea-Bissau fisheries agreement.
