Noise emission in the environment by equipment for use outdoors

 The committee adopted the report by Karl-Heinz FLORENZ (EPP-ED, DE) approving the proposal under the 1st reading of the codecision procedure, subject to just one amendment. This aimed to include single-engine mobile cranes in the list of types of equipment for which the stage II limit values would be indicative only (rather than definitive), in view of the technical impossibility of achieving those limits for the time being.
