The European Parliament adopted a resolution based on the own-initiative report drafted by Raül Romeva i Rueda (Greens/EFA, ES) on the Council's 7th and 8th Annual Reports according to Operative Provision 8 of the EU Code of Conduct on Arms Exports. (Please see the summary of 23/11/2006.) The report was adopted by 504 votes in favour, 24 against and 34 abstentions.
