Non-automatic weighing instruments (repeal. Directive 90/384/EEC). Codification

PURPOSE: to undertake a codification of Council Directive 90/384/EEC on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to non-automatic weighing instruments.

LEGISLATIVE ACT: Directive 2009/23/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on non-automatic weighing instruments (Codified version).

CONTENT: the purpose of this Directive is to undertake a codification of Council Directive 90/384/EEC. The Regulation supersedes the various acts incorporated in it. It fully preserves the content of the acts being codified and hence does no more than bring them together with only such formal amendments as are required by the codification exercise itself.
