The European Parliament adopted by 590 votes to 20, with 41 abstentions, a decision on the European Council's proposal not to convene a Convention for the addition of a Protocol on the concerns of the Irish people on the Treaty of Lisbon, to the Treaty on European Union and to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.

Parliament gave its consent to the European Council's proposal not to convene a Convention.
