Treaty of Lisbon: concerns of the Irish people in the areas of right to life, family, education, taxation and military neutrality. Protocol

The European Parliament adopted by 586 votes to 26, with 34 abstentions, a resolution on the draft protocol on the concerns of the Irish people on the Treaty of Lisbon (Article 48(3) of the Treaty on European Union).

Parliament agrees with a European Council decision in favour of examining the proposed amendments to the Treaties.
