Establishing the composition of the European Parliament

The European Parliament gave its consent by 574 votes to 71, with 39 abstentions, to the draft European Council decision establishing the composition of the European Parliament.

It should be noted that the draft European Council decision remains unchanged as regards the allocation of seats between Member States as proposed by Parliament in its resolution of 13 March 2013.
